🔗 Share this article Battlefield 6 Gamers Agree: Tasks Are Overly Demanding The debut of the eagerly awaited Battlefield 6 received widespread acclaim, notably for its flagship multiplayer mode. On Steam alone, live player figures surged to nearly 750,000. However, in spite of its success, many players are expressing frustration over some of the game's toughest challenges, which are mandatory to access certain guns. Users have commenced turning to personalized games made via the Portal feature to finish these tasks, underscoring just how demanding these challenges have become. Grasping Battlefield 6 Objectives Tasks represent Battlefield 6's ongoing multiplayer objectives, as opposed to the periodically changed everyday and weekly missions. It features four categories of assignments, but although many simply offer cosmetics and some tools, finishing the gun missions is the only way of acquiring a dozen out of forty-one key firearms present in the game. Several of these restricted firearms could shortly find their way on rosters of the finest arms in Battlefield 6. Gamer Backlash across Reddit Over on Reddit, players are reasonably voicing their concerns about how challenging and repetitive several of these challenges are. One user highlighted one of the most outrageous examples, needed to obtain the KTS100 MK8 LMG: Subdue 300 opponents with LMGs Cause 10,000 non-ADS damage with LMGs "This task is so atrocious and completely out of mind, I want to tear my hair out," is a quote that summarizes just how annoyingly hard these tasks are. Suppression in Battlefield is less effective than in previous titles in the series, so it lacks nearly as many positive effects in fights as it used to in previous games. It only registers as suppression if you fire a burst without hitting the target. Meanwhile, using an LMG from the hip is extremely unreliable and only works at extremely close range, which isn't typically where you want to be. That player also noted the contradiction in the SMG challenge, to unlock the SCW-10, which demands eliminations when scoped in, when that challenge would be considerably more fitting to hipfire kills, and vice versa. Another Overly Demanding Mission One more community participant brought attention to another ridiculously tough challenge, this time in the long-range weapon type to unlock the PSR: Secure 150 precision takedowns from more than 200 meters away with sniper rifles This is challenging enough on its own, but there's one more key thing to consider: most Battlefield 6 maps do not even allow combat at such a long range. There exists a reasonable assortment of map sizes, but because there are just nine levels in the game right now, it means you're limited to playing New Sobek City, Mirak Valley, and possibly an additional option at a push if you want to snipe from beyond 200 meters. The Workaround Nevertheless, a method exists: the portal. This portal feature is a feature that enables you to design tailored experiences on the battleground of your choice, complete with bots. This means you can bypass the intended method… but it doesn't really seem like the spirit of the game. But when tackling the tasks in a proper game appears to work against fun, since you have to play in such an unorthodox manner that harms both you and your squad, who can blame someone for grinding them out in a private match so squad members are not disadvantaged? Upcoming Tweaks It won't come as a surprise if a number of these missions are made easier in the next few updates, because unless they are modified, a portion of the user base simply are unlikely to obtain the gated weapons. At the moment, the audience continues to express their views on these challenging battlefield assignments, hoping for a less arduous overall gameplay in subsequent patches.
